Nothing Happens In Dirt - a screenplay A photograph of two elderly men in a diner inspired me to write a screenplay. The screenplay, "Nothing Happens In Dirt".  Logline: When a corrupt politician conspires with the town council to attract murderers,  flocks of tourists and aliens to the rundown town, political reform becomes a dirty word. An allegory to contemporary American political dysfunction; it's a cry for help before the country goes down the toilet. LIVE Online READING - Tue.  " The Most Boring Man In America ",  World Debut Screening.           AFI Silver Theater, Silver Spring, Maryland, USA.  May 19, 2023. Scene: Newton Wiff has a first date with Linda Klein, a world famous food critic.  Logline:             A socially awkward man finds love & fame by talking about his obsession with ... traffic cones. A photograph taken inside the AFI cinema as we (cast/crew) see the debut screening of our comedy film.  What a thrill it was to see on the huge main screen in the beautiful art deco cinema.  I was taken by the set design and composition of this shot, in the penultimate scene of the film.   "Newton" has a romantic date with "Linda Klein".   They delight in a shared passion for inane subjects ... the Himalayan red mustard seed book-Volume 4 and three foot high pink traffic cones; a perfect match for each other! Director, Co-Writer, Producer, Actor.
